Dietitian Deniz EKMEN has been working at our hospital as a dietitian since 2021. Her services include developing weight-gain or weight-loss plans for patients, building dietary plans for patients, performing detailed analysis of weight, metabolic rate, water and muscles to inform development of a plan appropriate for the patient, monitoring weight at regular intervals and switching to a maintenance plan after reaching the target weight, using advanced carbohydrate count to correctly arrange diet for diabetics to aid in management of their condition, developing customized dietary plans to ensure an adequate and balanced diet during pregnancy and lactation, developing dietary plans and following up on patients with gestational diabetes mellitus, regulating nutrients that trigger digestive system disorders to help manage symptoms, and in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome helping to reduce symptoms through an appropriate diet including dietary supplements where indicated.
