Nilüfer ÇELİK, M.D., Pediatrician, has been with as a pediatrician since 2021. She is a pediatrician who targets well child and neonatal follow-up and diagnose and treat diseases may be encountered, due to her expertise. She is an active participant of advanced life support and in childhood emergency response in hospitals where it specializes and performs compulsory service. She has a role in the emergency response of various diseases such as asthma attacks, allergies, severe fluid losses in vomiting and diarrhea, which are encountered in childhood.

As her specialization thesis, she tried to keep track of the effects of maternal nutrition in the postpartum period while still in the mother’s womb by making follow-ups of the babies of mothers with gestational diabetes, and emphasized the importance of breastfeeding in this period. As a mother who tries to follow the reflections of nutrition in the newborn period in childhood and adulthood, she encourages breastfeeding as much as possible and aims to increase the breast milk intake of healthy babies with up-to-date approaches to various breastfeeding problems.

Osman Necmettin ŞAFAK, M.D. has been working at our hospital as a pediatrician since 2013, drawing on his experience built during his work at the state hospital and the obstetrics hospital. His services include following up on any abnormalities in infants before and after birth, performing essential examinations and ultrasound examinations, examining infants immediately after vaginal birth or cesarean, checking infants for jaundice, umbilical bleeding and infection, providing mothers with breastfeeding training and information on neonatal vaccinations, phototherapy for infants with severe jaundice in company of the mother, specialized vaccinations which are not available from primary care facilities (e.g. rotavirus, meningitis), treatment of infants with bloating or dietary problems, neonatal follow up, pediatric development, treatment of allergic pediatric conditions, diarrhea, bronchitis and pneumonia. Pediatric services are offered through 22:00 after the end of work hours at 18:00. Our doctors are reachable between 10:00 and 22:00 every day, including holidays.
