Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy involves visual examination of the abdominal cavity. The device is inserted into the abdomen through a 1 cm incision made under the belly. It illuminates the abdominal interior and allows visual examination of uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes for any signs of illness or problems, or treatment using auxiliary apparatuses inserted through 3-5 mm-wide punctures made under the belly. It is commonly known in public as bloodless or bladeless surgery.
