About Our Hospital
The foundations of Private Beyhekim Hospital were laid by Specialist Dr. Hikmet Kırdar, who made significant contributions to healthcare services in Sakarya.
Dr. Kırdar, being one of the first physicians to practice “ozone therapy” in Turkey, pioneered in the field of private healthcare by first opening the Adapazarı Şifa Hospital and then the Yeni Cami Private Beyhekim Polyclinic.
In order to meet the growing healthcare needs of the region, the Private Beyhekim Hospital was established in 1992. After the 1999 earthquake, our hospital moved to its current modern building, expanding its service capacity.
Following the passing of our founder in 2009, the chief physician position was taken over by his son, Op. Dr. Mehmet Medar Kırdar, and the development journey of our hospital has continued with the same diligence.
Today, Private Beyhekim Hospital operates as one of Sakarya's esteemed healthcare centers, spanning over 8,603.73 m², with modern medical equipment, a strong expert staff, and a patient-centered service approach.

He served as a physician to Mevlâna and his family and was renowned for his wisdom and mastery in healing, earning the title of “The Great Physician.” The respect he garnered, as detailed in historical sources, and the medical legacy he left behind still represent a valued approach to healthcare today.
